Hi All! I am writing this from a patio table at Tenkiller Lake on a Monday afternoon. I have a glass of wine next to me and my Canon Camera. I am going to give you a few answers to this question, it’s a great question, and I would bet our neighbors think we are drug dealers!
The simple answer is: I am a digital marketer. I sell digital advertising to local businesses.
What is a digital marketer? A digital marketer is responsible for using digital channels to generate leads and build brand awareness. What the heck does that even mean?
I am a digital marketer that handles the content & ads for Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and Directory listings for my local clients.
Something kickass about me being a digital marketer is I can work anywhere. That means I can work from the lake, Thailand, my son's lacrosse tournament, or anywhere that has wifi. I am a digital nomad.
Digital marketing has allowed people like me, corporate slaves, the chance to break out and be digital marketers. You can hone in on a skill, become great at it, pitch it to clients, and live a laptop lifestyle.

Do you need all these skills? The answer is no! You just need to get great at one of them. Once you accomplish that you can market yourself. I happen to have the roadmap on exactly how you do that, join the academy.
The next question I get asked is can you really afford to “live” as a digital marketer? Yes! Digital Marketing is the new California Gold Rush. Digital marketing pays well, extremely well. I make over six figures a year handling just a few clients, the travel blog is just fun for me now and makes zero dollars, and the academy is brand new and is my chance to give back. Where to start? This is the MILLON dollar question. I have spent thousands on courses from Cat Howell, Gary Vee, and lots of online millionaires on the internet. Half the shit I already knew, the other half was a waste of time. Consume their free content and start learning. You need to start with free training that is available to you on the internet. Believe it or not, Youtube & Google have all the training you need.
Is digital marketing MLM? This is not MLM. I actually hate MLM, the girls in my neighborhood would signup, act like my best friend after not talking to me for years, and then pitch their shakes, candles, or lipstick. No Bitch I do not want to buy it, so you can be my friend. They would be out of the business in no time.
Digital Marketing is the grind. It is where you live, eat, sleep, and shit digital content until you know it in your sleep. Then you get out (self-motivation) and find people who will pay you for the service you provide. Believe it or not, there is millions who will pay you. If you are in a city, you can pitch local businesses, if you are on social media, you can find millions of people in Facebook groups who want your service. You can find work on Fiver or Upworks. It’s out there, you just want to find it.
This may sound like bullshit or stuff you have heard before. It probably is. I read this stuff for years until I decided to get off my ass and create the lifestyle of my dreams. You can do it too.
